Riverfold Software is celebrating the success of its Wii Transfer application by giving away a free Nintendo Wii in a holiday promotion. Entering the giveaway is simple via a web form or by posting to Twitter, while combining both methods will double each entrant's chance to win.
"Even a year after it was released, it's still difficult to find a Wii in stores," said Manton Reece, founder of Riverfold Software. "We wanted to do something fun for the holidays, while at the same time giving people a chance to try Wii Transfer."
First released in December of 2006, shortly after the Nintendo Wii launch, Wii Transfer has grown from a convenient movie conversion tool to a feature-rich media server. Browse iTunes playlists and iPhoto albums on your television, convert your movies to formats the Wii understands, and even automatically manage saved game backups copied to an SD card.
The Holiday Wii Giveaway is open until December 15th so that the winner can receive his or her new Nintendo Wii before Christmas. More information about the Holiday Wii Giveaway is available at: http://www.riverfold.com/software/wiitransfer/giveaway/
